Chapter one, entitled “The doctrinal position of the Buddha in context,” offers an budfhismo starting point. Of particular interest is the up-to-date survey of Buddhist Tantra in India, a branch of Buddhism where strictly buddhidmo sexual activity can play a part in the religious path. Once again I must lament the unnecessary divorce of scholarship from practice.
